Safeguarding

Introduction

At Dads Lane Community Association, the safety and wellbeing of everyone we come into contact with, especially children and adults at risk, is really important. We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels protected and respected. This page outlines our safeguarding policies and procedures.

What is Safeguarding?

Safeguarding is about taking action to protect children and adults from harm. This includes physical, emotional, spiritual, and sexual abuse, neglect, and exploitation. It also encompasses online safety and preventing radicalisation. Dads Lane Community Association actively works to prevent harm and respond appropriately to any concerns.

Our Commitment:

  • We have clear policies and procedures in place for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults [Link to safeguarding policy].
  • All staff and volunteers are trained in safeguarding and understand their responsibilities.
  • We have designated safeguarding leads who are available to provide support and guidance [contact details].
  • We have a culture of vigilance and encourage everyone to report any concerns.
  • We work in partnership with other organisations and agencies to ensure comprehensive safeguarding.

Reporting a Concern:

If you have any concerns about the safety or well-being of a child or adult at risk within our organisation, please report it immediately. You can do this by:
